things I have gotten better at.
Dec. 29th, 2010 01:19 amHere are some things I have gotten better at in the last undetermined amount of time. I'm not perfect at them; I'm still learning. They've been long processes with long explanations, but I feel I've become better at being concise.
Maybe next year I will write a similar list, before 2012.
1. Socializing.
2. Giving (and accepting) relationship advice.
3. Having physical self-esteem.
4. Eliminating stress.
5. Sleeping more (less insomnia usually, yay!).
6. Spending time and money on myself.
7. Accepting (and appreciating) values different than my own.
8. Not avoiding things.
9. Diplomacy.
10. Taking life less seriously.
Those are the most important things that come to mind. I am hoping these will help me think of what I want to improve about myself by next year, so that I can resolve things that are useful.
What have you gotten better at, Internets?

Date: 2010-12-30 07:06 pm (UTC)P.S.: I can't actually respond to that other comment anymore, but yes, my Tumblr is a media blog (sort of?). I half use it for photography and half for thoughts on various pop culture shit, which I should probably cover a lot more.

Date: 2010-12-30 10:10 pm (UTC)Resolutions are pretty neat, actually. Even if you don't get them all done, it's cool to compare. But making a list of what you've accomplished at year's end sound like a great add-on to that, leaves room for the things you might have not been expecting.
